At all grade levels students are given time to explore and experiment with media. They also receive instruction in specific art techniques taught by the trained volunteers who help the students to create a finished artwork of their own design without copying or using kits. The skills and techniques taught in each media build from Kindergarten through eighth grade. The California Visual and Performing Arts standards are incorporated into every lesson.
