Washington Union adopted the Desmos Math curriculum for grades 6-8 and Eureka Math for grades TK-5 in the 2023-2024 school year, supporting a comprehensive, cohesive approach to math education across grade levels.

Desmos Math (Grades 6-8): Desmos Math engages middle school students through interactive, technology-driven lessons that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. Known for its innovative use of digital tools and engaging activities, Desmos Math helps students understand mathematical concepts deeply while building confidence and curiosity in math.

Eureka Math (Grades TK-5): Eureka Math, often called "A Story of Units" for younger grades, provides a structured, research-backed approach that builds students’ foundational math skills step-by-step. The curriculum emphasizes conceptual understanding, fluency, and real-world application, allowing elementary students to develop a strong mathematical foundation before advancing to more complex concepts.

The adoption of Desmos and Eureka Math reflects Washington Union’s commitment to providing high-quality math education tailored to the developmental needs of students at each grade level.
