Technology Community Education Series

Overview:

This three-part workshop series, in partnership with  Common Sense Media, is designed to help families understand, guide, and support their students  in using technology safely and responsibly. Each 60-minute session gives practical tips, real-world strategies, and resources families can use at home and during unstructured times to promote healthy online habits and emotional well-being.

Across the series, parents and caregivers will:

● Learn how devices, AI tools, and online platforms shape kids’ learning, behavior, and well-being.

● Identify risks tied to screen time, AI use, and online interactions and how to respond.

● Set up family guidelines regarding device access and use.
