4th Grade

 

 

Fourth grade students at Washington Union School have a challenging curriculum, highly qualified teachers, and a variety of ways to show academic competence. 

 

Students take timed math facts tests to qualify for the Math Fact Hall of Fame.  They present biographical book reports of famous people by becoming the person about whom they have read and presenting an oral report, dressed as that person, during the Timeline Parade.  They learn about ecosystems and the environment.  Students study missions and visit the San Juan Bautista Mission in the Fall.  In the Spring, students will experience California history first hand during the Annual Gold Rush Trip which will take place at Sierra Outdoor School in Sonora for the

2023-24 school year.
